My name is Jules. I’m a twenty-something yoga teacher living in western Michigan. I’m here to connect my passions of music, positivity, yoga, pop culture and writing. Kind of like a lifestyle blog but I’m single and I don’t have any babies. Just a cat.

The name Too Sweet For Rock ‘N Roll comes from one of my favorite movies – of course, about rock ‘n roll music – Almost Famous. Penny Lane looks to William, the youngest ever writer for the Rolling Stone and says, “Honey, you’re too sweet for rock ‘n roll.” I have always been inspired and moved by music – especially rock music. I remember listening to my mom singing along in the car. I learned the words, too. Now I sing with her.

I have been practicing yoga since high school – so about 10 years now. I became a Registered Yoga Teacher (200Hr) through the Mindful Vinyasa School of Yoga in February 2017. I deeply appreciate the dedication of my students, their honest questions, and their trust in me. My absolute favorite thing about teaching yoga is making others feel relaxed and comfortable in their own bodies.

My other interests include pop culture, fashion, art (I paint with watercolor and doodle), creepy things (true crime, ghosts, the X Files, etc), psychology (I work on a children’s unit in a mental hospital and I have a BA in Psychology) and French things. So you might see some of my other interests sprinkled around. You will probably also see a lot of pictures of my friends and my cat. For those about to rock, happy reading!
